Jenna Fischer's most famous part is as Pam Beesly in the highly popular television show The Office. Fischer was awarded the award of two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her exceptional performance in an ensemble comedy.
Jenna was born and raised on the streets of St. Louis Missouri. Jenna grew up watching her mother, Anne who was a church performer. The experience instilled a passion for theater.
After finishing The Office, Fischer, a theater-trained actress returned to her origins. The Off-Broadway production Reasons for Being Happy was directed and written by Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. She went on to star as the first woman to appear in Steve Martin's latest play Meteor Shower, an absurdist comedy starring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg, for a record-breaking run in the Old Globe Theatre.
Angela Kinsey from The Office (the character mate to Fischer) as well as her real life best friend Angela Kinsey of The Office, started a podcast in the month of October. It was titled Office Ladies. The show has grown in popularity and has landed in the Top Ten every single week. In its initial year, it had over 200 million downloads. The podcast premiered in January of 2021. Office Ladies won iHeart Radio's Podcast of the Year award.
She is the author of two books, The Actor's Life: A Survival Guide In it, she details her journey to St. Louis to Hollywood in order to be a professional actress, and the forthcoming Office BFF's: Tales of The Office From Two Best Friends who were there (co-authored by Angela Kinsey) This book provides a memoir of their best friendship as well as their work in The Office.
