April Lockhart

April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She started piano and guitar lessons in 7th grade which sparked her interest. In April, when she was 12 years old when she wrote her first single, Different. At the age of 14 April, she spent a lot of time writing songs and honed her music ability. In the following months, April started to take trips across NY and LA with her Dad in order for them both compose songs. April began to include other relevant topics into the"Take my Hand song for some acquaintances, including peer pressure issues and suicide among teens. Lockhart has become a sought-after lifestyle blogger and working in partnerships with clean-cut beauty brands Ilia she has gained her own fan base. Her birthplace didn't come with a left hand, and that is why she's the person she is. It's just not the full story. Lockhart doesn't deny her disability on Instagram, but she does not make it the main focus of it. The message is? The message? We each contain multitudes, that our identity and physical selves are not all that they seem. Lockhart states in the video Lockhart via video "I do not believe that disability will define my character. My goal is not to have an impact on disability, because I've so much more to offer." My day-today life is not directly affected by disability. I live my normal day-to-day life and discover myself solutions for problems. Because it's an integral part of me and something worth talking about. Her journey to self-acceptance is one that will last an entire lifetime. She is an inspiration for this purpose. Lockhart admits to having been through a few phases in her body, and felt uncomfortable in certain situations wearing clothing that displayed her arms. It's her choice to wear what she wants, and she is proud to share photos of herself in these outfits. The self-love she talks about is a process. I'm not sure if you'll ever reach the point of no return. However, I believe that's the case with everyone with whatever they are struggling with. It's important to have people that know and can relate to your situation. They will be the ones asking you: What do you fret about?
